COVID-19 - Update
Subject: Sewing Volunteers
Dear Residents,
I want to say a special Thank You to our staff that ensure that our building is clean and running smoothly. Thank you to everyone for continuing to physical distance. I want to thank the residents who have returned from abroad for following the rules with regards to mandatory quarantine. Many thanks to all the residents that donated Disinfectant Wipes, Hand Sanitizers and Masks to assist our front line workers.
- Packages are being dropped off at your doors: there should be no loitering at the Security Desk.
- Wear a mask should any technician come to assist with an issue in your suite.
Preventative Measures:
There are is a shortage of masks in Canada, as such I am reaching out to all residents that can Sew and have a sewing machine at home. If you can Sew and have a sewing machine, call down to Management/Security and provide your name and information. We need to make approximately 1000 masks for residents in the building.
- Masks will be washed before use (cloth masks can be reused)
- Each suite will receive two masks initially
- Masks will be required when you are using the elevators or should you speak to front line staff
Isolation can cause anxiety; reach out to a friend or family for a few minutes each day. Do some stretching, yoga, meditation, exercise; create a little bit of a routine to help with this live saving physical distancing.
Thank you for your assistance in this most extraordinary time. Remain safe.
