Please be advised that garage repairs started on Monday August 26, 2013. The area under repair is the loading dock/garbage area and underneath on B1 where the shore posts were installed. 

This work is expected to take 8-12 weeks to complete - weather permitting. 

Important items:
- We ask Residents that enter the building through the garage door, please refrain and use the main building entrance. This is for your safety. 
- Residents that are in Suites at the back of the building should keep their windows closed during work hours, due to high dust levels at times.
- Any Residents that park outside at the back of the building may park in Visitors Parking during work hours. This is to prevent any dust build up on your vehicle.
- We ask that any questions or concerns during this project be directed to Management or Security.
- All residents should take extra caution in all work zone areas.
- Unfortunately, there will be no access to the moving room during this period. All moves, in and out, deliveries and over sized garbage drop off should be scheduled through Management or Security. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Management will provide progress updates periodically throughout the duration of the project.

Garage Area Update

Place Royale Board has secured five quotes for the start of repairs to the garage. Out of the five tenders Restorex has been selected and will be breaking ground within the next few weeks.

We ask the cooperation and patience of Residents parking in B1 for the displacement during the construction. Thank you for your support in increasing the safety of the building.

NOTICE: For Safety Reasons, during the construction, please refrain from walking through the garage to access the building. Thank you for your cooperation.

Sidewalk

Place Royale Board is negotiating with the City of Mississauga to construct a sidewalk from the front of the building to Arista Way.

Currently the lack of a sidewalk is dangerous especially in the afternoon period when children are returning from school.

The sidewalk will also protect against residents using the Garage on B1 as a point of entry to the building.

Party Room Prices

The Party Room prices are as follows:

Sunday-Thursday  $50.00
Friday and Saturday  $75.00

NOTE: Place Royale Board is assessing the state of the Party Room; residents have brought to light the breakage in the flooring as well as blinds and current state of the chairs.
 
Party Room usage for Community Events

The party room is also going to be made available from 9am -12 pm from Monday –Friday based on availability at no cost for community events such as Yoga, Irish dancing, Ballroom dancing and /or any group activity that all residents can attend. If you would like to use the party room for a community event please contact Jennifer at the Management office for conditions.

Kindly remember to sign the liability waiver when booking the party room.

Gym and Squash Court 24hrs

The Gym and Squash court will now be available for use 24 hours a day, effective immediately. 

Place Royale Board is looking at improving the gym; please submit ideas by using Contact form.

Squash Court Amenities Upgrade

Based on numerous requests from residents for a Basketball Court; Place Royal Board is looking at quotes to get a Basketball Ring put up in the Squash Court. Updates will be forthcoming.
